Imagine the opportunity
to chat one-on-one with some of the nation's top scientists,
engineers and other professionals in such fields as
medical research, oceanography, microbiology, and
intellectual property law (the profession that deals
with patents and trade secrets in the expanding areas
of technology)!
Students and others will get that chance at the finale
Expo next April when the Festival, in association
with the Federation of American Scientists (FAS),
hosts its Encounters With Scientists/Engineers sessions.
These informal gatherings, part of the Festival's
STEM Career Pavilioninitiative, allow students to
conduct in-person interviews with a wide range of
experts for one-hour periods to receive valuable information
on careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering
and mathematics).
TEEAM will participate
with an interactive booth at the event.
Please visit us! If you'd like to assist TEEAM
at the booth, contact us!
